Wedding Card

Hello there and welcome to my blog x

The weather here over the last few days has been pretty dim ..... guess our summer is over!! what we had of it.

Saturday we had a BBQ for our Grand-daughter Poppy. Family & close friends who have not met her yet had the opportunity to do so. It was a brilliant day, lots of food, drink, laughs and dancing.

My Son, Father in law and Husband did the ice bucket challenge and raised £135.00 for Cancer. We were all chuffed with that. I know this has gone viral and once you have seen one you have seen it all, BUT, before I share the wedding card I have made I am going to share the videos.

My Son Kerry

My father-in-law George.

My Husband Lee.
I apoligise now for the swear word at the end

I am going to share a wedding card with you. It was a commisioned one and I made it quite a while ago but have not shared it yet.

Kyla's Princess Party

Hello there, welcome to my blog.
If you are not already a follower please do become one and I will be over and do the honours for you too x

Today I am going to share some of the stuff I did for my Grand-daughter Kyla's 3rd birthday party which was in April.

Unfortunately I was not able to make my own birthday cake because I was on holiday in Spain. I did not fly home until the day before Kyla's birthday party.
Instead I decorated a ready to decorate cake which I purchased from Morrisons on the way home from the Airport.

All the bits made have been printed, cut & assembled. I found what I wanted from the web and it was all free. I cannot remember where I got them from so if you can enlighten me to give the person credit I would be most grateful.

Hope you enjoy x
Every child had a princess hat & a wand which I did not take a pic of.
They were purchased from the 99p shop

Pop corn boxes

We put soft crisps in these.

I folded these napkins to hold pink cutlery.

These envelopes are big enough to hold a chocolate lolly which I purchased from Lidl.

Pink straws purchased from £1 shop. I added the princess theme onto them.
We also had princess cups and plates.
Also
Cartons of flavoured water with a princess theme wrapper around each one.

These door hangers went in each childs party bag.
I also bought princess party bags with bubbles, bracelet, magic slate, sweets, colouring book, pencils and a balloon.

Each party bag was tied up with one of these tags.
I laminated them so as they were strong.

These 3D stand up dolls were printed onto card. They were a touch fiddly but well worth it.
They were put around the cake table.

The cake.
This is one of the wands which each child had. The Tiara is metal with rhinestones, so as my Grand-daughter can keep and wear it.
Name and roses are fondant. Used my own letter cutters and mould.
Purchased the boa from haberdashery store.
Candles from Asda.
Pink pearls are edible.

I purchased this cardboard cake stand from Ebay.

Blueberry Muffins.
I made the cake toppers.
Cake wrappers from £1 shop.

The birthday girl Kyla. 3yrs Old.

I also made some princess bunting, but again forgot to take a pic!

I do hope you have enjoyed looking and I look forward to reading your comments.
Enjoy the rest of your day where ever you are in the world x

70th pop up box card

Good Sunday afternoon everyone. Hope you are enjoying your day.
The weather has been glorious here.
Yesterday me & hubby went to Portobello Road, they did predict rain, but we had none. Ended up buying myself a new dress, shoes and hubby bought me a lovely glass locket with sea pearls and turquoise stones. We got a fab deal, bartered the women down and was pleased as punch with what we paid.

Today I am going to show you a commissioned card that a work colleague wanted for a friend of hers.
She just gave me the colour combo, age & name.

I got carried away with decorating the box card and it ended up not fitting the envelope! Good job I know how to make my own boxes, lol.
